The police, fire department, ambulance service and other emergency services will be in the thick of things at the European Championships for your safety. In the event of violent confrontations, we will consistently intervene and protect peaceful fans. We will also not tolerate any disrespect or even attacks against emergency services.
Our messages to all fans:
"Don't score an own goal and let me do my job. You could also need my help at some point," says emergency doctor Jörg.
"You don't want to spend the post-match period in the ambulance? Neither do we! Summer fairytale instead of emergency room. That's only possible without violence," says paramedic Luisa.
"In an emergency, we stand between the fronts. Fair play is not just on the pitch. Even insults put you offside," is the message from our colleague Martina from the emergency services.
"This is soccer, not a street fight. Violence is always a foul. Only our expulsion may end in a cell," says our colleague Nils from the guard and change service.
