Shop window smashed

(jd) A resident of Lübberstraße woke up last night (05.08.) after hearing a loud bang at 1.34 am. The man then looked outside for the cause and noticed four people running away quickly in the direction of the city center. The resident then noticed a smashed window at a hairdressing salon and informed the police. An initial search of the area for the unknown suspects was unsuccessful. According to initial investigations, the unknown suspects removed a manhole cover in Frühherrenstraße and used it to smash the shop window. The video footage from the surveillance cameras is still being analyzed. The damage to the building amounts to around 5,000 euros. The manhole cover was reinstalled on Frühherrenstraße.
