(hd) Presumably in the night from Wednesday (24.09.2025) to Thursday (25.09.2025), previously unknown perpetrators opened an unlocked car parked on Aubignysraße in Vlotho. They then searched the VW Tiguan for valuables. They discovered a wallet in the center console. This was stolen along with the cash inside. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and is asking possible witnesses to call 05221 / 888-0. The police advise not to leave any valuables in parked vehicles. Furthermore, the existing technical security devices should always be used.
