(jd) The employee of a store on Amselstraße noticed a break-in yesterday (2.4.) at 7.45 am. Previously unknown perpetrators forced a window on Wednesday night: they smashed the window pane with an object to open the window and gain access to the inside of the building. Here they stole cash in the three-digit range from the salesroom. The strangers then took a key and used it to open a door at the back of the building in order to leave. The crime was committed between 10.15 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Witnesses who noticed anything unusual in the Amselstraße area during this period are asked to call 05221/8880. The day before, an employee noticed that unknown persons had tried to break into the building. They also broke a window, but it withstood the force.
