The head of the Crime Prevention Directorate (K) is Criminal Director (KD) Jörg Ziegler.

  The command center supports and advises the Head of Directorate and coordinates the tasks within Directorate K. It is the link to the other directorates of Gelsenkirchen Police Headquarters. It also plans and accompanies major operational situations.
